What is Celebrate Springfield?

We don’t want to just like where we live…we want to celebrate it! For the second year, we will work with area businesses and fellow community members to remove the barriers that exist in our city so that everyone has a chance to not just experience the attractions, amenities and resources in Springfield, but truly celebrate them! Starting this summer and going through the first weekend in October, Celebrate Springfield will be a local’s guide to their own city—our city—Springfield, Missouri.

How to Celebrate Springfield

Have you ever seen pictures of people doing things in Springfield and thought, “I’d love to do that too, but I have no idea how or where to start?” We’ve got you covered.  We’ve built our website to be an  easy resource to learn what you should know before you go to each activity on our “Things To Do” page.
