Community Mural Project with Ozark Greenways & Artist Linda Passeri

Be a part of a fun and free community event that will create a special spot along the Fassnight Creek Greenway trail. Minimum age is 8 years old and ages 8 -16 must have a parent/guardian present. You may select more than one time slot. We will send more details, including parking information, to all registered volunteers via email on September 28, 2023. This pilot project is made possible through a partnership among The City of Springfield, Springfield-Greene County Parks, and Ozark Greenways. Grant funding is generously provided by the Hatch Foundation.
Playgrounds at Tom Watkins Park
Come play at Tom Watkins Park where you’ll find tennis courts, an outdoor basketball court, picnic tables & grills, restrooms, open shelters, play equipment, and an 18-hole disc golf course.
Playgrounds at Silver Springs Park
Silver Springs Park features a newly-updated swimming pool, playground, basketball courts, tennis courts, a ball field, picnic tables and grills, restrooms and a large pavilion.
Playgrounds at Phelps Grove Park
Phelps Grove Park is one of Springfields historic parks and has so much to offer your family! Here you’ll also find playgrounds, a historic picnic pavilion, restrooms, picnic tables and grills, horseshoes, drinking fountain and a paved walking trail. The Perry Tennis Courts and the Waterwise (Xeriscape) Garden can be found just South of the Springfield Art Museum- and why not stop in and look at some great art for free while you’re there?!

Nichols Parks has so much to enjoy for the whole family – a lighted baseball field, tennis and pickleball courts, a soccer field, outdoor basketball courts, a drinking fountain, picnic tables & grills, restrooms, pavilion and playground.

Here you’ll have a blast in their large swimming pool, playground, ballfield, basketball courts, tennis courts and restrooms. While you’re there, check out the Railroad Historical Museum, highlighting the history of the Frisco Railroad.

Looking for a number of activities in the middle of town? Visit Meador Sports Complex and Parks! Here you’ll find 5 lighted softball fields, a lighted baseball stadium, 2 lighted tennis courts and Pickleball courts. Meador Park includes swimming and wading pools, outdoor basketball courts, playground equipment, picnic tables, grills and a drinking fountain.
