Run at Fassnight Creek Greenway Trail
Fassnight Creek Greenway Trail is in the heart of Springfield, south and west of downtown and Missouri State University. It currently passes through Fassnight Park, and goes under Campbell, Bennett, and Jefferson avenues, and connects by road to Phelps Grove Park. It will eventually be extended west to Jordan Creek and Wilson’s Creek greenways and east to the Springfield Art Museum.
Run at Wilson’s Creek Greenway Trail
Wilson’s Creek Greenway Trail links to South Creek Greenway in southwest Springfield, at the popular junction called Tal’s Trailhead via an on-street connection. This trail is lovely and travels through the popular Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park. Another section of Wilson’s Creek Greenway trail is paved at Ewing Sports Complex – the future site for Fassnight Creek Greenway, Wilson’s Creek Greenway, & Jordan Creek Greenway trails to all connect.
