Community Mural Project with Ozark Greenways & Artist Linda Passeri

Be a part of a fun and free community event that will create a special spot along the Fassnight Creek Greenway trail. Minimum age is 8 years old and ages 8 -16 must have a parent/guardian present. You may select more than one time slot. We will send more details, including parking information, to all registered volunteers via email on September 28, 2023. This pilot project is made possible through a partnership among The City of Springfield, Springfield-Greene County Parks, and Ozark Greenways. Grant funding is generously provided by the Hatch Foundation.

Creava Studio

Creava is a pottery studio located in Springfield, Missouri. It is their goal to help you find, nurture, and master your creative passion. Sculpture Walk Springfield

Public art has proven itself to play a major role in rejuvenating public spaces and local economies. Sculpture Walk Springfield is an initiative aimed at creating such a museum, by displaying quality sculptures in public places in Springfield on an annually rotating schedule. Each collection of sculptures will be in place from April to March of the next year.

History Museum on the Square

Journey through eight interactive galleries to see how Springfield, Missouri and its region shaped American history. Each gallery brings unique stories to life through world-class exhibits designed by Explus and videos and interactives created by Richard Lewis Media Group. Our rich and vast collection of artifacts, photographs, and “voices of history” are combined, using innovative technologies that are fun for all ages. First Friday Artwalk

First Friday Art Walk is a program of the Springfield Regional Arts Council. Established over 20 years ago, the Art Walk is a free and self-guided program that allows the community to get an insider look at local art, businesses, and galleries! As the name suggests, the Art Walk happens on the First Friday of every month and showcases the art, food, and fun of Downtown Springfield.
